   I needed to replace some Christmas lights around my front window, but didn’t want to try the big box stores this year.These lights are LED, but they’re warm white bulbs with screw-on plastic housings to give you the different colors. They are larger than I expected, too. The result is a set of modern lights that have a vintage look. They don’t have a “blue” cast like modern LED lights, and not a “ pink” cast like the incandescent sets from the 80s. Instead, they look like the old lights from the 40s and 50s. This is great if you love that look, or want a variety in your yard. But they will not match the lights you may have gotten last year at the hardware store.

   The lights were pretty, but we’re mislabeled as warm and we’re actually cool in tint. It was not that much of a problem but thought I should mention in case there was a batch that went out in wrong boxes.

   These lights are very bright and add a lot to a holiday display. The colors really stand out.They have a two prong plug to connect but do not have a follow on plug, so they can’t be used in the middle of a string of lights of a different design.

   I didn’t realize when I bought these that it didn’t have a normal plug in prong for string to string application. If you are starting from scratch then it’s no big deal but if you are adding to an existing string take note of the connectors.Lights are beautiful and look great on our tree outside

   Many folks might not like these lights because they don’t blink or have a remote, but that is what I like about them. I ordered a string last year that I had to turn those features off every night when I turned them on. Very old-fashioned type lights, except for being LED. Perfect for Me.

   Packaging didn’t fare well in shipment. I like the end line connectors.
