Easy to fill, clear part seems maybe a little too flexible/thin/not 100% snug so im a bit insecure about this being around for a decade – but that also appears to make it easier to clean. The chimney cap arrived intact, the little sticker holding it on DID take off some of the paint, picture a speckled paint job – it remived a bit of the speckle, not the actual paint-nothing you would be able to see from a few feet away, probably not different than the entire thing will be after a summer in the elements. the cable is quite long, id prefer it to be shorter, easier to elongate with hooks if needed….Sparrows were on it immediately. They did seem to need to find their sweet spot. All of the large nuisance birds can use it, but are clearly not comfortable. Based on the reviews I was really hoping itd be too small for anything other than finch-sized friends, but at least the larger birds that can use it cant sit and graze all day on it.And its soooo flippin cute!Worth the $ – for sure.

I was a little skeptical when I opened the package and saw that it was much smaller than I’d anticipated (my fault for not paying attention to dimensions), but all the birds in our area (and the squirrels) love it and have been eating from it for the last couple months! I’ve already had to refill it (it holds a surprising amount of bird food), and it was super easy to take down, clean out, and fill back up.The wire hanger it came with is thick enough that it’s sturdy and doesn’t move much when finches, mockingbirds, blue jays and cardinals land on it and eat. We’ve even seen a dove eating from it, which have bigger torsos/chests than the other birds, so I wasn’t sure if the ledge would be big enough to accommodate them. But it does!!The only area bird I haven’t seen land on it are grackles and crows, which is probably a good thing since they’re seed hogs!! 🙂 Definitely recommend if you want to encourage your area song-birds to congregate in your yard and sing lovely morning/evening songs!

This little house is cute and easy, but the height from the overhang to where the “roof” meet feels way too small unless it’s a tiny song bird that comes along.I’ve had bluejays attempt and fail, but moved along and I started to ask why. The ledge should either be out farther, or the roof needs to be taller.I’ll still keep this in case smaller birds come around but I will be buying a much taller one so the birds can eat with ease.

Very easy to get into and clean or refill which is also the reason it didn’t get 5 stars. The small catches for securing the lid require some finagling to get them to grab-and-hold. Small birds only can feed from this – my Cardinals & doves have to forage on the ground under it. Occasionally I catch lady Cardinals precariously balancing sideways on the tray edge to eat, but it’s not a good fit.

Just wanted a feeder to keep a little food in that was quick and easy to fill. This is not super water proof so if you like to load up food and have it last awhile it will prob get moldy.

Birds enjoy the feeder

The seed gets wet abd sticks to the bottom. Get for cactus under the gutters.

Birds didn’t like this feeder, no birds came for feeding. I tried another cheaper feeder from Walmart and the birds love it. I gave 4 stars because customer service refunded my money back without asking any questions.
