One of our best Halloween purchases. Design, construction materials, and assembly are all excellent. We dinged it one star because the instructions don’t describe how to adjust the numerous lighting patterns and it doesn’t retain the lighting mode you select when re-plugged in or connnected to an outdoor timer.Goes together in a couple of minutes following included instructions. We have this at our front door with the plug assembly connected to an outdoor extension cord, all contained in a waterproof small size SOCKiTBOX. This assures no exposed electrical connections and keeps the pumpkin’s electric control box dry and out of the weather.It does not have an on/off switch. It is turned on/off by plugging/unplugging to an outlet. When powered it cycles through its different lighting modes repeatedly until they are changed with a button on the control box. I would suggest using a outlet timer switch to turn it on/off and control when it comes on. We use a WeMo WiFi Smart Outdoor Plug which is easy to program with the WeMo App.We placed 3 small red bricks on the base stand we purchased at Home Depot to keep it secure in windy conditions. We paid $.48 cents each for these. 3 stakes are included if you have it on a lawn where you can stake it to the ground.There are several lighting options from on steady, fade, twinkling, flashing, and other settings. These are controlled from a small round weather proof button on the top end of the control unit. We didnt’ find this until two days after setup because it’s not described in the instructions. If you don’t select a lighting pattern it will simply cycle through all lighting effects.We also put this on a timer to come on at night for a few hours and turn on in the morning for a couple hours. It does not appear to retain its’ settings when power is turned off and back on with the timer.HIghly recommended for a unique outdoor display which should last years.

Super cute pumpkin decoration. Fast delivery, but I’m not feeling super confident in it’s sturdiness. The central poll doesn’t quite sit straight up and down. One of the rings on the base is missing. Overall, I’m hoping it’ll stand up. I plan to weight or down with old metal free weight plates. I will say it was super easy to assemble though.

This is really cool, it is battery operated which I thought would be a pain to keep going out to turn it on. However it you turn it on at the time you want it to start it will automatically turn off in 8 hours and it turns back on automatically at the same time the next day! It is adorable to

This really is a Fabulous Halloween Pumpkin Decoration. It has 8 Modes of Lighting and I have it on my Patio Porch with other Halloween Fairy Lights. Very Simple to Set up and Battery Operated. Perfect for Porch or Patio. Ideal for a Child’s Room too as it has a Timer. I amHappy with The Halloween Pumpkin Decoration and I am going to order a second one fir my Fireplace. My dog thought it was a little person and kept barking at it. LOL., She now sits with it and watches the lights.

Easiest set up, love the multifunctional lights. I didn’t realize it was battery operated with automatic timer in it. I would have preferred a plug in because I’ve had decorations with the timer stop working after a while. Looks good on the porch though.
